Está entre las tres mejores del país, las evaluaciones de los pares académicos son muy buenas, tiene mucha flexibilidad y se adapta a las necesidades de los municipios”.
Señaló que es una de las mejores instituciones que tenía y la entrega con mucho gusto, pero espera que las entidades locales sepan valorarla y que la hagan crecer, porque pedirá cuentas.“Es bueno y es triste estar entregándole a la región una institución ejemplar, pero Soledad y el Atlántico deben estar de fiesta”, expresó.
El gobernador Eduardo Verano destacó que ahora el Departamento cuenta con una segunda institución pública de educación superior. Con la redefinición institucional del Itsa se ofrecen a los jóvenes programas de formación en los tres ciclos de la educación superior.“El Itsa atiende hoy 5.300 jóvenes de todos nuestros municipios, de los estratos 1 y 2 y la proyección es que para el próximo años esta cifra se multiplique”,.
